Work life is fun. But it can get a little boring sometimes. I don’t feel that I have much responsibility yet – perhaps due to the numerous times that I have made mistakes. I hope that each mistake is made just once and I don’t make them again. My boss is so nice… I make not 1, but 4 mistakes in the same document… and he writes “Thank you for taking a lead on XXX document. Please just do a double check of the following numbers in the composite sheet”. Hmm… isn’t that such a nice way of putting “Hey, you suck, stop falling asleep and check ur damn numbers before sending them to me!”?
Gotta get into the habit of checking things like 5 times before i send.
It kinda sucks sitting alone by myself outside. On the one hand I can surf the net when i’m bored and such… but i feel left out on the gossip, haha and you know how girls live on gossip. It also makes it easy for people to forget about you… for lunch and stuff.. Today for lunch I tried to make my way to the lunch place where we were celebrating a colleague’s birthday, but being hopeless at HK Island geography, I walked around the block twice without seeing the restaurant >< and my colleague went back to the office to find me feeling bad that they had forgotten about me.
So much for being an orienteering champion, can’t even read a map.

awww.. i know how that feels.. go network with your colleagues when u are bored and sitting at your desk doing nothing!
