n’tSchool has started for 3 days and so far i have been able to make it to all my classes! ISn’t that amazing???

Today was horrible… it was pouring cats and dogs and my umbrella got
stolen @ Kimball B11 and i was late for class and it was pouring…
luckily Kim + Christina gave me an umbrella ride to and from Baker…
but it wasn’t much use, was drenched head to toe and was freezing in
the normally *ooh-ahhh-air-con-nice* Baker 200 lecture hall… wore a
sweatshirt for the remaining of the day to make sure i didn’t catch a
cold… *sigh i don’t even think i have an extra umbrella…

But… the xanga moment was, our first time cooking! Despite some
*kermkerm* when i mistakenly put a freshly watched frying ladle in a
pan full of hot oil… *ouch…*, and some overly marinated pork, and
some potatos that weren’t as tender as they could be, the meal was good…
hey, what do you expect, need practice to be perfect!

Miss Mak with our cauliflower mushroom and pork stir-fry thing…

Yay!
Hurray for 8: 40 class tmr…

hurray for you able to go to all classes for the past 3 days!!  hurray for your first cooking session…despite that *ouch* of hot oil!!  as you said….practice makes perfect…everyone’s like that when they first cook….although for me things can go worse if i haven’t cooked it for a long time (eg a month)!!

take care and hope you can always wake up for 8:40am classes!!
