Yah… i so agree… sometimes overly surrounded by wealthy people and can get quite fed up with that… not getting a balance at Cornell… ah well… i guess that’s the norm…>.<

very interesting articles!!

looking at the second one….i do agree.  on my floor alone we can see quite a few pretty rich people.  think about some people who can afford to go out to eat every day, partying all the time, buy £3000 laptops, lots of different expensive gadgets, even shopping at the famous super expensive Harrods!!

i don’t really see anyone that is regarded as the “traditional” poor students, although there are a few who do work part time….but most don’t

Wow really? In my university, most people are farmers, woodcutters, bricklayers or garbageman! A lot of people on my floor also work part time and apply for grants and loans too, or join the army for a free education. We must be looking at different facets of the same cube.

that’s very trrue..  u can easily tell who is from the upper class.

there is no such thing known as “fair opportunitiy”.

Take Wisconsin (madison) as example, the house rent is also $600..  but for the entire flat/apartment/house..

unusually high demand for “good” house in here.
