Went to see Gothika last night (Free Advanced Screening @ Uris Aud…, coming out in US on Nov 21). Freaked me out. Man…if i gave The Ring (english) a scary rating of 2, this one would be about 4 (out of 5). *maybe its just me, but i felt like i was on the abyss in ocean park for at least 1 hour ~O_O~!(the other hour of the movie wasn’t scary, i was like *that’s impossible…blahblah doesn’t make sense etc.)
Plus there was the sound effects of all ma fellow Cornellians Screaming – seriously like a rollarcoaster ride. Velly good scary movie atmosphere.
Happy tho that i didn’t have nightmares… perhaps i conquered that childish fear of horror movies – also happy that i got to see a free movie before it shows nationwide!
also mailed my letter to grandma. That crappy-chinese letter took me forever to write – like 3 hours – my chinese level is falling even faster than the abyss in Ocean Park. O_O
SO WINDY TODAY!
Ears almost fell off. But i found that my sweatshirt is actually warmer than my Gortex. How weird. Snowing pretty hard today but not sticking yet. According to my roomate’s mom, there will be 6 inches of snow by tmr morning – but then she’s not always right.
<edit> tiz proper snow! Tis sticky sticking snow! Not like the type in van or hokkaido but proper snowman toronto snow. ;-P
