and so my roomate found my bag of preserved fish that i bought from the aji ichiban in chinatown… and she was like “it smells like fish in here”…”eWWWWWW…that’s soo disgusting!” then she grabs it and rushes into the hall and roams around… showing everyone that was what i was eating.

Nick was like “that smells like my ass”.

Talk about embarassment. Then she was like…”you can eat it…but its TOO disgusting!”…er…right… and she hands me a clip so i can clip it. It smells good!

Thank god FeiFei thought it was good. its good stuff man! Talk about cultural differences. I’m only eating it to replenish my iodine deficiency (they rarely serve fish here!)

P.S…sux bigtime… i have to wait another week for the ER episode that i wanted to watch since this week was a re-run… but it was still an episode i haven’t seen before… so that was good.

hmm…preserved fish…very true that it has strong smell! talking about hiding food…i have over 9kg of rice, 2 boxes of noodles, 6 boxes of tea leaves and…a small box of chopped up “fa kei sum” 花旗參 (which DOES smell!!). good thing they are well sealed so apparantly nobody noticed!!  :hehe:

iodine deficiency?? there’s lots of iodine in fish?? (i lost my GCSE food knowledge) now you mentioned it….i miss fish too!!  :frown:
