OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Oh my!

You won’t believe my luck! After a whole day of hw I went out with my mom + dad to eat dinner at this fancy expensive classy chinese restaurant with my mom’s good friend “Auntie Queenie” and her husband who came back to HK from Toronto. We were eating for like 20 mins…when Auntie queenie was like

“Wei…tai ming sing ar!” (Wei, look at the celebrity!)

So I turned my head, thinking it was some random person like bobo or sth…but it was…lol

andy hui!

At first he was gonna sit at this other table…but he said “I want to sit on this one” and it was the one right next to me! He was like 20cm away from Auntie Queenie…I was half hoping I had chosen Auntie Queenie’s seat so I could listen to what he was saying. He looked half pissed…dunno how to describe his emotion, but he was talking with a lot of gestures to his friend/assistant. Although I couldn’t really hear what he was talking about, the good thing about my seat was that I could stare at him for like 2 hours. We shared the same waitress!

I was contemplating whether to take a photograph (yes! I happened to haf my camera with me)…was too scared I’d get rejected. so I decided to “tau pak” (take one secretly.)

Andy is illustrated by the yellow arrow and he’s talking on da cell phone. He ate “Char Siu”, “Lap Cheung” and Vegetables.

I’m very chicken, to those of you who know me, so I was going to put away my camera. The waitresses were discussing whether to get his autograph.

Then I thought…wat a crap picture man! If I don’t ask him for a proper pic I won’t forgive myself for a week. It’s better to try and get rejected than to never try at all! so I sat there, very nervous, waiting for da perfect moment. I was sooo nervous I drank 4 glasses of water…I needed to pee so badly! He started fagging…um…not my type of activity but I’m still his supa fan ma! He ate watermelon for desert. Then he got paid for his meal and got up. So did I.

“Andy ar…can I take a picture with you!”

“Ho ark…lets go outside.”

So I dragged my dad out and we took this:

“Thank you ar…your singing is very good.”

“Thank you!”

Bad picture…I look so fat and my dad was trembling I think so the image is blurry but oh well. My very first picture with a chinese pop star! And one of my favourites too! But I’m soo jealous of sumi and teresa who haf so many pics of celebrities!

I’m so proud of myself that I asked! It’s one of the bravest things that I ever did.

Sometimes I wish I weren’t such a chicken. New Years Resolution : do all my hw on time and be brave!

I’d like to thank god…for letting me chose that restaurant tonight….for making me remember to bring my camera out (I ususally forget!) and for giving me the courage to ask.
