Fluids prelim
So dead. Going to be so fried. ARgh maybe i’ll have to drop the class. ARGHARGHARGH
why do i care about stupid fluids. What has that got to do with BEE?
(Alot… but still, don’t tell me). Why do i know nothing about physics
so i can’t do these problems properly. Sey la.

Heh well i didn’t read the thing about me getting tagged until today,
so even tho its so late, i’ll post sth up tonight, after i’m dead.

my fire is back.

i’m looking forward to school and a higher GPA. I want to be in the top 20% of my class, i wonder what GPA that translates to? Really got to stick to the whole ‘afternoon in library’ plan.

hmm i wonder how long it will last this time…last semester i think i was quite motivated until a week before Spring Break; lol see they should give us longer holidays that way my fire will come back more often and i’ll do better haha. See it took 1.5 months rest to get my fire back, so if they give us 1.5 month before the finals to rest… haha… although in reality it would suck cuz everyone would have to study during holidays. O_O

Got to go eat dinner with a professor from Zurich tonight. It’s supposed to be good networking opportunity. I picked him up from the airport last night and apparently he taught 3 years at the Cornell’s Weill’s medical college in the city. I’m not so good at the whole networking thing; hopefully i can make myself more memoriable la. We’re going shopping for pearls afterwards for the professor’s wife. Hehe at least some chance for me to look at pretty stuff Pearls nowadays look really modern, unlike the stereotype of it being jewelery for the older generation – i was looking at the mikimoto and tasaki catalog and was drooling over a few of the pendants… tho I’m so careless that its never worth buying sth that expensive cuz i’ll just lose it or sth… haha. Apparently Tasaki is more famous that Mikimoto in Asia, so we are going to the Tasaki shop in Central. Got to miss tennis with Joy and Vto for this; i want to play tennis!

Macau pics will be up later, possibly later tonight if I come home early enough or tommorrow night! In the meantime go see the ones on mary’s xanga!

haha i spend a half hour watching R.Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet
Chapter 1-5 music videos. Now that is one messed up storyline. Ewww. Really graphic too…

On the other hand, also watched Faith Hill’s new MTV… which was the
original reason why i signed onto yahoo music… looks like she’s going
back to country and less pop… go girl! Yay finally a CD to look
forward to buying… Sammi hasn’t had any new albums for a whole year
and so i haven’t gotten any CDs for a whole year O_O.

hopefully everyone in London is alright. (Thankfully) they picked the summer hols to do it but still its a horrible, atrocious event.

due to vto’s ban of pictures that show her with closed eyes, i have an
extremely limited collection lol. grr and for some reason i’m not
allowed to log onto kerberos so i can’t upload pics onto cornell.

still have to see some people! I really wanted to come to lunch today
but then they were doing something interesting at work so i didn’t
go… argh i really need to be more proactive in organizing activities
and catching up with old friends!

last exam of sophomore year abtly on the last day of school and last
day of exams. *sigh… in 7 more hours i will be sitting in phillips
101 taking this exam and by 11:30 i should be done…what a liberating
thought…

i really should go to sleep now but i’m really scared and i don’t feel
ready to sleep yet, tho i know ample sleep is good for math type
exams… =( lol so the prof made a mistake and sent out a table with
some of the results of the students with their first and last names…
from which u can work out what everyone got in each
prelim/quiz/lab/hw… but he was really sorry about the mistake. Being
the nosy me that i am, i was checking out what ppl got… =P… i know
who the smartasses are now (not that i didn’t already guess, be heh)…
and I also know who the lazy asses are! (again, predicatble)… i’m
like average atm, as always, the average student… booo… but this
final is gonna be hard and i’m scared and if i screw it up and don’t
get average then i will get a C which sucks because now i know that i
won’t be getting any Cs for any of the other classes and this is like
the last C-able thing.

But then the prof seems quite nice and predicatable, he doesn’t
normally give overly complicated material in exams… we’ll see…
