=) hehe happy cuz i got that campus food science job. If i stick to my schedule for next semester, i will have tuesday – friday afternoons free to work/do hw etc which should be awesome!

Hehe sorry daddy for changing your song so soon after putting it up… but the last background was too grey and too depressing – esp for the spring and in the light of finals coming up. Need a brighter background! Watched S.U.C.C.E.S.S. vancouver show (thx cindy!) and got into a fish liang frenzy mode! Never knew her cantonese was so accent free! hehe fish fish fish…lol… i guess although i’m starting to grow out of this whole star-crazy-buy-all-the-magazines phrase, i still need a transition period.

Worked on my paper for ENGRI last night, so i could turn it in early for extra credit. Although i did most of it in the weekend, revision took quite alot time and i slept at some crazy hour again. >.< but its weird because although i only got 3 hours of sleep last night, after the initial problem of waking up, i felt quite energetic, even more so than the days with 9 hours sleep. Hmmm… i even managed to stay awake through the whole of CS! hehe perhaps its the influence of cindy… or maybe god’s trying to tell me not to be so lazy and sleep less and use more time to work?

waking up for CourseEnroll and staying up for too many papers screwed my biological clock over. had to take a nap this afternoon, which is never a good thing~ means i’ll be wide-eyed at 2 tonight. >.<… sigh. must fix this.

Ups of the day:  Finally got a “+” for my English paper!

FYI, my teacher grades on a scale of “+”, “check +” and “check”… apparently its to allow us to improve without the pressure of a letter grade wor… whatever O_O . but yay! + hehe… *couldn’t believe my eyes! so surprised i hate to ask my classmate whether + was better or “check”

Downs of the day: Computer Science Sucks. (esp Java). Period.

My dad made a request for my xanga song~ he wants “Come back to Sorrento…” I liked my song right now (Nowhere and Everywhere from Practical Magic Soundtrack) because this song was my favourite 4 years ago and revisiting it is so great. But i think i will put up that Sorrento song for him~

Or perhaps maybe “I believe i can fly” from william hung. Was appreciating this song with tony last night. We agreed that the “I believe I can Flaieyaieyaieyaieyaieyaiaiaiaiaaiaia ….” bit was classic. Inspirational!

Haha did anyone watch the premier of the show “The Swan”?  erm… its really weird. Its like these fat averge looking women going thru liposuction and plastic surgery to get into beauty pagent. The newest reality show. What else haven’t they done? I think its too weird! And overly emphasise beauty. But then and again, who doesn’t? O_O

Talking about reality shows, they are recruiting for the next season of “The Apprentice” on campus in the hotel school. Fay was telling me to go with her. haha wat a joke. I love that show! But well enough to know that i am far from Apprentice material lol. Its such a good show i’m hooked – looking forward to the finale next week. Was nice chilling with fay and jean and connie today. Good to speak less chinese for a change. Also went to wisc meeting, and listened to a presentation about frogs. Pretty interesting stuff!

American Idol is quite good. I think John stevens should be kicked off though. He’s from upstate new york and there’s news on him every night on the local news. Don’t like george huff’s voice either. But Jon Peter Lewis is cute! Hehe love him. I love him singing “Tiny Dancer”, i love that song! Oh and quite heartbroken that jasmine can’t sing that well, i think she’s really pretty. Hehe also i think william hung’s singing is improving. Him singing *lee heung lan* is not bad. Oh and his *she bangs* has improved alot too!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on the new layout! Hehe i fixed that bug on the comment page…forgot to change some code, hopefully the text can be seen now. Real random this morning, woke up and thought: I need to revamp, and so i did! Took me a relatively short time this time round too, so its great (normally i get hooked and waste a whole day) Surprised that many people realised the change even when i didn’t update yet, cuz normally i don’t go to somebody’s page unless they update!

Anyway, really want to take this on my next trip to Toronto:

Rochester-Toronto Ferry: The Breeze

Only 2 hrs and 15 minutes and i’ll be in toronto! excellent contrast to the suffocating 8.5 hour greyhound ride O_O. And only $28! exciting stuff. the only problem is…how to get to rochester? Or more precisely…how to get to the ship terminal from the rochester greyhound station? Or maybe should get a ride…but whose gonna drive me to rochester from ithaca…O_O haha… Hester and I will have to figure it out, but really want to ride on The Breeze  when it is brand new before it gets old and worn and the seats stuck with bubble gum! (haha i am fui…but went to the cinema and got gum stuck on my pants. GrRRR bad experience.)

I can’t sleep because i’ve been sleeping too much…in bed… not fun

The weather changed abruptly and changed from warm spring weather to cold winter weather once again. SNOW… sigh… spring break seems more like winter break. Got sick on tuesday, puked (literally) after having to eat 8 ‘milk and cheese dish’ variations for my nutrition class… never knew that mac and cheese could be so disgusting, won’t be having that for some time. then felt so nausious that i couldn’t get out of bed yesterday…had a bad fever too. Even missed my computer science prelim. >.< Dunno if that is good or bad la.

On the brighter side, applied for a job at the Mann Library and finally got some sort of reply instead of just getting ignored. I went to fill in an application and BSed alot and am now shortlisted and have an interview after spring break. Really hope i can get it… could use the money … and of course with the more stuff i can put in ‘past work experiences.’ of CV. More stuff to BS about. JoY! 

Spring Break next week! Will promise not to waste it! All those who have breaks too, have fun!!!

Happy Bday Eva

Entrepreneurship midterm was soooo easy. So easy that if you don’t get 100% you are considered dumb. But i definately didn’t get 100%. >.< i hate it…. because i studied that particular question which i know i got wrong. I re-read it 5 minutes before the midterm, as well as the previous night and the week before that. It was SOOO familiar. It was SOOOO at the back of my head. Too bad i couldn’t recall it to the front. It was right there…then i had brain deadness period. *GIK SEI WO LA*… >.<

they put me on hold for 19 mins…so phone bill is like $2US… but i got my refund! refund of $21.60 hehe. i had to half beg them and half scold them haha. So happy… moral of story is that you have to persist teehee… learning from my dad —————————————————————— Norton has the worst customer service ever. 1. They don’t have a toll free number. WTF! ok. fine, i’ll pay to call… but i’ve been on hold for 14.47min…and counting… *my phone bill is gonna be more than that $20 refund i was going to ask for. Is it worth it? ——————————————————————- update: I reformatted my computer all by myself…heh… so proud of myself, because i don’t know how to do it, i went on the HP website and there was live webchat troubleshooting for compaq presario users! Yeh..so i found out how to do it, and yay! hopefully the computer will be much faster, now that there is nothing in it. It also means i have my 40GB storage space back… better use it WISELY this time round. The downside is…turns out my operating systems CD is chinese windows, so now i have chinese windows installed when i prefer english windows…>.< man…took me quite some time to understand all that technical chinese when i was reformatting! ^_^’ scared me quite a bit, for a while i was scareed i would erase everything from the comp and the comp would be a piece of useless metal forever… *touchwood* —————————————————————-

looks like my computer is still very very sick… i thought i fixed it, but apparently not… i think its going to need some major surgery…reformat it…>.< ouch.

backing up is a pain. Wasting so much $, spend $10 to bu CDs for backup, and just realised that my $20 spent on antivirus was wasted because there is free antivirus at cornell. Going to try to ask for a refund. >.<

Stupid virus hacker writing people…pls stop.

 >.<out of stupidity i lost myself $7 lor… haha there was an Oscar Guessing Game in the lounge and if you got the most right you get $7 lor… i was tied with this one guy until the very last category which… i dunno why i was so stupid i didn’t put LOTR lor… (perhaps i was *dou hei* cuz i personally fell asleep during that movie) but yeh… so stupid eh? When i wanted to change it the RA said it was too late and the votes were closed. >.< *sigh…

but nicole was so pretty tonight! And Sean Penn…true surprise but he deserved it, after so many years. (haha didn’t vote for him) Charlize i’m not too sure about, although i did vote for her…hehe. Renee, happy for her! she deserves it, along with Tim Robbins too.

LOTR did a clean-sweep? that’s so unbelievable lor… so many oscars. But then i guess i fall asleep in most of those Oscar-movies haha… anywayz. ahh still need to finish my paper! So much for the Oscars.

p.s. finally found a song Â¥@¬É¤§³Ì to change to after much too long of miriam. Promote sammi ma! heh. the album’s weird, but i like the recent style in sammi’s recent albums; they have a certain theme to them that makes it semi-commericalised but not quite. add oil!
