my fire is back.
i’m looking forward to school and a higher GPA. I want to be in the top 20% of my class, i wonder what GPA that translates to? Really got to stick to the whole ‘afternoon in library’ plan.
hmm i wonder how long it will last this time…last semester i think i was quite motivated until a week before Spring Break; lol see they should give us longer holidays that way my fire will come back more often and i’ll do better haha. See it took 1.5 months rest to get my fire back, so if they give us 1.5 month before the finals to rest… haha… although in reality it would suck cuz everyone would have to study during holidays. O_O
Got to go eat dinner with a professor from Zurich tonight. It’s supposed to be good networking opportunity. I picked him up from the airport last night and apparently he taught 3 years at the Cornell’s Weill’s medical college in the city. I’m not so good at the whole networking thing; hopefully i can make myself more memoriable la. We’re going shopping for pearls afterwards for the professor’s wife. Hehe at least some chance for me to look at pretty stuff 
Pearls nowadays look really modern, unlike the stereotype of it being jewelery for the older generation – i was looking at the mikimoto and tasaki catalog and was drooling over a few of the pendants… tho I’m so careless that its never worth buying sth that expensive cuz i’ll just lose it or sth… haha. Apparently Tasaki is more famous that Mikimoto in Asia, so we are going to the Tasaki shop in Central. Got to miss tennis with Joy and Vto for this; i want to play tennis!
