Ball girl models cause outcry

The Government official insists that the arrival of the models, wearing short skirts and skin-tight black tops, is sexist and unsporting and has sent a protest letter to the tournament director.

The models received only two weeks of training prior to the tournament.

 Agassi was less than impressed when the chair umpire has to remind a confused ball-girl to return to the side of the net.

The models are reportedly being paid ?00 for the week.

“I think it is important for our sport to understand its product clearly, and I’m not quite convinced this is part of our product,” said Agassi.

“It was difficult, to say the least, to concentrate on the ball, but I suppose I had an advantage – I’m used to playing with my wife (Steffi Graf).”
