WAH! Miracles DO EXIST! my computer miraculously healed itself! I had this faint hope just now that when i turned it on i would see ian thrope and i did! Instead of the ugly blue screen that says ‘your hd cannot be found’. Thank you Thank you Thank you! *muah* love you, whoever performed this miracle.

i busted my computer; i dripped water on it because i washed my hair and now the harddrive is burnt.
Devastated. ![]()
Shit my warrenty expired.
But then and again, the main use of my computer is for ICQ/MSN/downloading… less for hw because very little of my hw is done on computer… so i guess its good in this week of prelims where i just have to plough through studying without distractions…
but still devastating.

aiya… =) then again, time for a new computer
hey!~ ^_^ nice pic!~ yupyup just get a new one!!! it’s always good!~
but you actually designed your hot layout…unlike me who just swiped it off somewhere ^_^;……
Computers these days suck…so vulnerability to repeated submersions in water!!
Haha something very similar happened to me a few months ago…I spilt water on my laptop and when I turned my comp on my whole screen was white…but after a while it worked again…I was SOOO relieved lol
Computers are a pain in the rear, and they often go out for little reason. They need to sell new ones!
wie kay! its carmen! how ru?? glad to hear that ur computer is okay now 😀 must be a miracle sent from above! 😀 hope u’re doing well.
heard this news from lap kiu last night when he called me…was already scratching my head how this small amount of water dripping off your head will bust the hard drive. according to my experience of *opening* my laptop, there’s no way you can drip water on computer and hard drive bust. first thing that will bust should be the keyboard (water shouldn’t be possible to drip from keyboard to the hard drive, unless water is on table and flowed upwards)
good thing comp works again, but this is a bad sign….don’t d/l overnight too much (thats probably how i bust mine last year). leaving comp on and d/l overnight is much worse than just leaving it on, cuz your CPU is running continuously, HD running continuously…easiest to overheat.
suggestion: do a disk check, spyware and virus scan, to make sure no hardware or software problems, backup all important files (portable) stored and created at this time, until you’re sure the system is stable again
I would honestly…pray. P.U.S.H.! (Pray Until Something Happens!)
