I think i’m getting a bit pre-fluy. ate some of christina’s Vit-C pills… and weaing my woolen jacket to sleep… hopefully that would help. i can’t get sick! christina is crazy. She eats at least 10 pills a night. Supplement pills. ‘calcium, vit c, vit d…etc’ craziness!
cornell server down for 3 hours. but after it came back on discussed econ with that one guy who replied. At least he’s quite smart. after econ discussion also bSed abit too. he’s a biochem/econ dbl major. takes orgo too. Good. seems like a nice guy.
went to singapore SA dinner. some good stuff. hehe that coconut bread was good. the fried noodles was good. and the laksa.. tho the laksa in peneng better. . why am i always taking bout food?
so there are more HK nutrition majors! I’m not alone haha. i thought i was the only one HKer in the whole cornell doing nutrition…O_O. haha our table won the first prize in the raffle happy… we are gonna donate the present to the next HKSA raffle.

Ty everyone for the lovely comments on the last post! I will promise to take more pictures of the gorgeous gorges (haha say that really fast…impossible!) before all the leaves fall off. Leaf foilage is 70% right now. So pretty!
Fellowship was good yesterday. Cook Jean from the dining hall bought us mussels + congee.. yumyum. Said hi to her in the dining hall today…identified ourselves as HK people. So nice to find more HK people!
kay is having a money spending crisis. i’m spending too much money and i can’t do it anymore. I must stop. Stop going out to the commons/collegetown to eat (even tho the food is better). Hehe saved $20 yesterday cuz i didn’t go eat with them in Ctown… but kind of pissed them off…) Stop buying clothes (I *think* i have enough…though maybe another pair of warm pants won’t hurt. hopefully, tho i did buy another angola sweater today since the last one was SOOOO warm. ). I never used to spend so much in HK. The arts and crafts stuff is so cheap here. Gonna do major shopping before i come back to HK so i can buy presents for people.
Its warmer today! gonna be 70F on monday! Yay! 
Went to Pmall again today…haha the only mall in ithaca… bought Old Navy Flip Flops for 49c! hahaha seriously so cheap. The same pair in august when i first went was $8.99USD haha. Plus i bought oldnavy short sleeved T-shirts..$1.99. Hahaha. Kay si lai is happy because she bought cheap stuff.
Stupid econ group is ignoring me. O_O. I think i might have to do this stupid project myself. If they still ignore me after i give in outline i am gonna complain to TA to change group.

a lot of work to do this week. A picture of me and the pretty autumn leaves on campus. There’s a nicer one, but i couldn’t be bothered to walk there today. Just random pic. to satisfy my parent’s needs la…hehe. (You can click on the first picture for a larger version of it. )since they are probably the ones that pay the most attention to my xanga.
Went to “Taste of Thai” for Thai food Downtown last night. Drank “Tung Yum Gong”. Good! 
. But that wasn’t the best… went to eat Creme Brulee. Haven’t proper Creme Brulee since… well if you don’t count that spoonful i scanked from Brono at the pacific club 2 months ago, then it was 5 years ago… in vancouver. Ahh… gd memories. But dining out is expensive! Since my parents bought a new house in HK, perhaps i should start saving up… not use so much money! o-o
also…if anyone is interested… a video of my piano freak friends playing da piano… . hope it works la.
and so my roomate found my bag of preserved fish that i bought from the aji ichiban in chinatown… and she was like “it smells like fish in here”…”eWWWWWW…that’s soo disgusting!” then she grabs it and rushes into the hall and roams around… showing everyone that was what i was eating.
Nick was like “that smells like my ass”.
Talk about embarassment. Then she was like…”you can eat it…but its TOO disgusting!”…er…right… and she hands me a clip so i can clip it. It smells good!
Thank god FeiFei thought it was good. its good stuff man! Talk about cultural differences. I’m only eating it to replenish my iodine deficiency (they rarely serve fish here!)
P.S…sux bigtime… i have to wait another week for the ER episode that i wanted to watch since this week was a re-run… but it was still an episode i haven’t seen before… so that was good.
finally finished reading xangas… but not going to prop people cuz i will take too long… still need to catch up with hw… will prop on a new entry!
so. back from the big city of NY. Big apple. I really did have a lot of fun, even tho that YMCA was extremely shitty and ghetto. What kind of receptionist scold customers? If they had gone to the Cornell Motelie School they would have known better.
I really felt like a tourist, which was weird cuz i’m actually a New Yorker? New York Stater lol. Ithaca is nice, I thought it was very good but compared to the action and life in NYC, Ithaca is really very *heng har* as in “country”. So. Got a taste of the big city. Jealous of the peeps in NYU and Columbia that have so much to do… in such an exciting city. Missing HK even more.
went t central park, empire state, 5th avenue, times square, fast food steak with wang and yan..ty! (couldn’t meet with jessl, next time lar!) ), lincoln center for opera, united nations, flushing for “yum char” (so good!), Soho, chinatown (ate my beloved choi sum hehe), times square hersheys shop..
, music shop, roxy shop, starbucks, walls street, statue of liberty, Ground Zero (WTC), South seaport…
Quite a lot accomplished in 48 hours eh?
we MASTERED the extremely confusing NY subway system!
Once more i have proved that i am queen of big 2… won 8 games out of 13 hehe
