I’m soOOOooo going to drop biology. Its so stupid that i’m taking a course that i have credit for. !stupid advisor is “mong sing sing”, he knows nothing… the last time i talked to him he told me that i HAD to take biology (even tho i had credit) and now he’s telling me i can drop it if there’s no use for it. Well man, I’m dropping! haha. why do i want to take a hard course of stuff that i’ve already learnt but where the coursework weighs so much that i wouldn’t be able to get a A… (cuz i sux at coursework… If anything, it might pull down my GPA. What a WASTE of my time!now that i’m dropping i’m only taking 14 credits this semester. Dunno if its a good thing or a bad thing. Good thing if i can use the spare time to study hard for chem and NS and Econ and get good grades on those. Bad thing is if i just bum around, getting used to relaxing and die next semester when i’m planning to take like 20 credits.

hatEee my econ class. Its so annoying they make you draw supply and demand curves on excel, with LINES. so i spend 1 hour drawing a graph with the stupid laptop touchpad, making certain lines bold and dashed and test boxes to label the lines. Its sth you can do in 2 mins on paper, but 30 mins on the computer. I found that i don’t like econ. Good, cuz that means i know that i won’t be getting a PHD in Econ. Something clear in my life.

Thank you so much *Wang* and *Em* for the econ help! really appreciate it. Got my econ homework in 9 hours ahead of the deadline.. .

Still have lab report to do. After that i’m liberated for some days!

I officially HATE popups! i’m sitting here with only 2 programs running – the econ course website and my excel file… and up comes 6, yes 6! popups! – *enlarge your penis now*… *viagra*… *you have won a prize!* *Rent too expensive?*… and there was one with a girl on a bikini on it… and one more about being a better lover. !!! anyone know how to get rid of them? I already uninstalled all the weird programs! HELP!

Just finished my first “exam” in college. Orgo Chem Prelim ar… was so stressed out last night since tere were 152 pages to read and remember… all these curly headed arrows business that i never understood in High School.  Might have failed… i dunno… cuz each question is worth so many marks…But now its over and done with . thank god. Bad news is that i still have Econ Hw, English HW and Bio Lab Report (like an investigation) due tmr. *funfunfun!*. ~plus. I have to watch ER. . Season Premiere ma!

Its getting cold here. Chilly at night, like late november days in HK. I’m proud of myself tho… still only wearing a T-shirt in the afternoon… *must get accustomed to cold weather!*. peepo are starting to get sick… i hope i don’t.. will eat the *ling chi* from dad to prevent illnesses lar, since he always says how it works for EVERYTHING

I was walking back to North Campus after my exam… alone in the dark *seriously no lights, so afriad i might fall*. in the cliff-like hill near Baker Lab… looking down on the campus… Cornell is so pretty! Balch looking like a big castle, Risley like another castle… Dusk here is also very pretty. Orange and Purple Skies… Mmmm.. such a nice place.

*me concentrate on ER… so exciting. . *take care peeps miss u all!

edward from the HKSA just told me that my econ prof is a tough marker. She told us that the papers are not graded on a curve, but now i think that is probably a bad thing. Apparently the median is a C+.

Damn i don’t need a 2.3 on my transcript. In fact i can’t get that. hmm. the add-drop period is over so i can’t add the other class.  can’t S/U it either. the only option is to drop but i don’t really want to only take 14 credits. deem suen. plus there’s that bio class. Prudence? or was it Evelyn…told me that only 5 ppl got an A last year.

*only way out is to keep working…study study study. hopefully will remember all the material.

Argh! I think i’ve suddenly realised that i must not fool around and study more. . how can ppl get 4.2 GPAs in this school? so scary. help…

bio is killing me. So much work. I think i left my beloved pencil case in the bio lab today too. *Sigh.* luckily only half my pens are there, but still, the case is new… . present from my cousin and cousin-in-law. I really hopw i find it.

but then the cool thing about bio is that the professor is really young. kind of hot actually. ahah. half the ppl in the course couldn’t guess that he was the prof when they met the first time. haha

he;s the one with the wide eyes…haha. can’t guess that he’s a prof right? Now i think i will go to all his office hours and ask stupid questions. “Dr. Sac*o, why do animals move?”… lol. he’s even got a blog, but its one of those daniel chan blogs…you know…about running:

Prelim (midterm) for chem next week. Sigh. hopefully it won’t be that hard since the lectures all seem ok… got to do major chem revision this weekend tho. You know what sucks? i have a gothic writing seminar… and on the night of my prelim they have a screening of “THE RING” and everyone has to go. Because of the stupid prelim, i can’t go. and not only do i have to go rent it myself, i also have to write a 3 page essay on the movie “to prove that i’ve watched it”. *ARGH!*. so bad.

supposely a huge hurricane around the east coast. the weather’s gonna be bad tmr. haven’t experienced a hurricane b4, wonder wat its like?

haha today dinner – midnight was so funny. I didn’t get any work done so I’m so dead. but i really did have a ton of fun laughing. (look at my hobbies… laughing is one of them!) Haven’t laughed so hard since… hmm. Maybe a year ago?

I was literally banging my head on the floor and rolling on it. Hester is too too funny. *TELL ME!*. *TELL ME!!!*. Lol.

actually hester reminds me a lot of wincey. I’m not sure why, but I miss you ar…wanchai. I realised i haven’t seen you for ages. *sigh.*

I’ve played truth or dare here like 3 times already. Its getting to a point where there isn’t anything to ask. (the good thing is that these friends don’t know your other friends, so its ok to tell them everything la… since they can’t judge you or gossip or whatever). haha so because there’s nothing to ask, we end up asking really stupid questions. but some of the questions also made me reflect. *I think i understand myself a bit more after today.*

my stomach is upset due to too much laughing.

so weird to see so many people leaving HK when i’m already no longer there…

Happy Mid Autumn Festival!

so after classes today i went to do the weekly bio unit test.. sigh.. seems a lot harder than last unit… luckily i did ok lar. If the difficulty of the units increase at this rate… i will die. . still have oral test tmr. if i fail i get 2% knocked off final grade. FUN!

but i was really happy that i did sort of celebrate mid autumn. ate half a mooncake! haha it was “dai wing wah” mooncake as but the wrapping was like a “wing wah” mooncake. hmm. nevertheless very yummy tho. Ar Dee is too funny… she was trying to get everyone to support the yolkless mooncakes.. . haha but i do like a little yolk.

the food was so yummy! fish balls… steamed chicken with mushroom. homemade char siu. sesame “tong “dumplings…my fav! They cooked it themselves. so lek. so cool there were fish balls i must get grandma to improve my cooking skills when i go back to HK. then i might be able to cook next year for ma housemates. i want to be some use! thank you all the sophomore girls for the yummy food and mooncake!

haha the moon is so round. on the way back to the dorm i saw my friend holding a box of mooncake and a box of vitasoy. apparently he was going to “sheung yuut” himself on the grass. Hmm… so i decided to stick around lar.. hehe. The moon is so pretty and round! the skies of ithaca so pretty
