My current mood I felt that i really needed an update but i had nothing to update about…but finally, at 6:00, i have gathered little titbits of things i would like to tell. First of all, my stresses lately. There’s the grad trip, which is all over the place, because ppl can’t go, because of parents, because of time, because of money, because of location. However i would like to thank Emily and Jo for putting so much effort into the trip. Hope it works out in the end so your efforts won’t be wasted! I got my certificate for EuClid today. 68%. haha i suck…but its still a distinction! So when my dad recently brought up the prospect of going to Hong Kong U, at first i strongly repelled…now i think it might be ok. I hate myself for thinking about a situation that i might not be in – (HKU hasn’t even accepted me yet) but i can’t help but wonder where my life will lead. The thing is, i don’t want to be a doctor doctor, (the type on ER) – at least i don’t think so. I’m more interested in doing research – biomed or pharmaceuticals or a microbiologist – but my dad thinks if i study med first, it is a shortcut – since most of the good researchers have an M.D. But then i’ll be having 5 tough years in Hong Kong compared to the more laid back; happy 3 years- uni life in Cornell. Plus, i want to take a post-med degree IF i get accepted. I want to go to the US…but how many doctors actually give up their job to study more? So i dunno. If i get accepted that is. *sigh. I dunno what to hope for; i dunno where i’ll end up; i dunno where my life is going. Anyhow, enuf of my blabbering. I was reading through this webring copyrighten! all the sites look so good!. I had a sudden urge to change layout but my skills are soooo limited that i couldn’t do anything i wanted to…therefore i only made subtle changes. Hmm…i wonder if one day my html or css script can be at such a level. Perhaps i should use the summer to take some web-design courses. On a brighter note: NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Faith Hill (news) and Tim McGraw (news) will be making separate movies this summer. Hill will play one of the robot-wives in a remake of the 1975 thriller “The Stepford Wives.” She tells Glamor magazine she’s been looking for the right script for years. She’s excited that Frank Oz (news) will direct and Nicole Kidman (news) has also signed on. P5 is HARD! Exam tmr! |
