ok you don’t have to read this cuz its a whole load of blabber about tennis. but if you want to, you can. ![]()
Guillermo Coria (ARG) [7] def. Andre Agassi (USA) [2] 4/6 6/3 6/2 6/4
and thus my favourite, “leng zai” (yes i know not many agree with this) is out. That leaves my grand slam fantasy left unfullfilled for another year. (agassi winning all four slams). Every year after he wins the Aussie i am left with that fantasy. I don’t think it will happen, but one should never lose faith. Well as long as it doesn’t ever happen to any other male player for the duration of my agassi madness i’m ok with it. haha ![]()
Anyhow. I thought Coria was going to be tough after i watched the Coria Zabaleta Match. and quite right i was. And Agassi wasn’t playing especially well. Afterall, he’s 33 and on clay, people in their 20s can actually run down the ball almost whereever it is on the court – while agassi’s legs aren’t fast enough or, at 33 and father to be, he’s lost that motivation. On hard courts and other surfaces, the ball is faster so the 20 year olds can’t actually run for the ball if its on the line and stuff. Which makes the french interesting to watch cuz there are so many upsets but not good for agassi fans.
Oh well, i semi – prepared myself for this so i’m not that dejected. I will concentrate on Chem 2 for the remainder of the night.
Anyway. I have new ppl to root for now that Agassi is gone. Ferrero! (Mosquito!) Hehe.
as for the womens. Go Kimmy Clijsters!
okok really gtg now!
I’m disappointed but i must do well in chem tmr!
