Me soo happy today. Played great tennis with my coach. Hohoho. I’m improving. Watch out bronson I’m going to try to block some of those fast balls of yours on friday.

Officially 2 hours and 3 minutes to Chinese New Year. Happy New Year of the sheep everyone! I’m stuck going to visit relatives for da next 3 days. BoRiNg~ I guess I’ll continue reading ma book.

Officially CNY!

I had nightmares yesterday. Not good dreams to have on the first day of the year. :-p Good thing I’m not that superstitous. First I got a C for A-level English. Then My hair turned punkish gold cuz I was sleeping on my mom’s pillow or sth. Then I fell into quicksand on an orienteering course with vto and mary and kenneth l.? The bad thing was that it was already 8 o clock and we were still at check point 2. It was very very weird. but then I know it can’t happen cuz I doubt there is quicksand in Hong Kong.

Hehe quite a good day today. It was a bit nostalgic at times though. Mr. Slater’s last day and he was singing “Your Song” with changed lyrics. Although I couldn’t understand half of what he was singing it was touching all the same. I dunno what got onto me but I kind of started to cry. Maybe cuz I love that song so much. Nicole Kidman sings it well but on the Moulin Rouge CD there is only 1 line in the “Elephante love Medley”. Sux.

=) so Happi cuz I won 2 medals today. One bronze, one gold . I haven’t won any medals for athletics since Y9. The 10+ people better than me for 800 were all doing sth else so I was lucky to get the bronze. Really lucky cuz every year I get 4th. Every year there are 3 people better than me. As for the other medal…seriously a fluke. We did it in such a short period of time and people were so tired from running relays that noone jumps well. Oh well…hehe. What’s more, Nightingale came first for track! If you told me that b4 sports day I would not have believed it. Hohoho the Nightingale era is back. This last year is going to be a good memory for me.

Hmm…haven’t updated for quite a long time. But then people don’t really want to read about my boring life la. Basically I’ve been “relaxing” these few days. Already in Holiday mood! Went to watch LOTR yesterday…wasn’t bad, but wasn’t exceptional or whatever. Not my fav type of movie.

Today we went to see the human body exhibition which was kind of boring after a while. Hmm…just hung around, nothing much.

I want to go orienteering! I’m desperate. Wonder if we’re allowed to join that event on the 6th of April? I want to join all the remaining competitions there are. I doubt they know what orienteering is in the US. (At least I won’t get to participate!)

My aim for this holiday is to finish reading at least 2 novels. The book I’m reading now…I think Sammi was considering acting it. Hmm…I’m reading it, and the role doesn’t really suit her. But it’s a good book. My type of novel. Like the Joy Luck Club sorts. But it’s better than “The Bone Setter’s Daughter.” My fav Amy Tan book is The Kitchen God’s Wife Then Joy Luck Club then Bonesetters. Haven’t read “Hundred secret senses” yet.

I was quite lucky in the chem exam. Had it not been philip asking vto about the Kc stuff I would not have known that there were 0.2 mols and 0.1 mols on SO2 and O2 given that there was 1.8 mols SO3.

Plus I would not have known water reacts with Grignards to form alkanes. or with CO2 to form carboxylic acids. Or that amides can be reduced to amines.

There were bits that I messed up, like the born-haber and the equations at the beginning (I can never remember what reacts with what?) Around 9 marks la. but hopefully hopefully not too much I can still get over 55. I hope hope hope I can get an A.

NO MORE EXAMS!

Hehe yes playing tennis with bron was fun but I kind of stank in the exam and noone had deo. Not good not good to play in your uniform when you have to stay in it for some time. =) Well he’s more sai lay than me so I was running around quite a lot. I’m so unfit! How am I ever going to run 800m in sports day? *Sigh

Went out for dinner with phil, em, vto, daniel l, lap kiu, kerry, daniel c, benson. In festive. Pam couldn’t go. *Sigh. Sometimes I am very grateful and happy that my parents are at least more lenient than Pam’s parents.

Chicago Interview tomorrow. Dan Ryans Festive. Hmm. Hope it goes well la! Will talk about it tomolo.

Ausopen Final on Sunday. Agassi vs Schuettler (pronounced Shit-ler, yes, pronounications can be quite controversal haha) Go Agassi! I want to see Graf play at the French Open! Cheer me up!

I love the Australian Open. Now that Hewitts gone, Agassi….you HAVE to win the Grand Slam otherwise my sacrifises *Ahem* in screwing up my P4 + my 10 hours on weekends spent watching tennis would be not worth it. (Well…I didn’t really screw up that that badly, but Agassi has to win)

When Agassi retires I’m going to contradict myself and become a Hewitt/Clijsters fan. For some reason the celebrities that I like normally come in a pair:

Haha…the last one is random but I was clearing out stuff toys and I coutned that I had about 10 pooh stuff toys….hmm…As for these celebrities, there are some others but I’m not as crazy for them…hmmm…as fiona says, I am a fan of many people, I must admit.

Damn I’m so excited I can’t even revise properly for P4

So I decided to delete the shocking post…I dunno why…too much contemplating. Well to those four ppl who saw it…(maybe more), hmmm…well done I guess? You’ve managed to see a weird side of me. 4 comments in an hour…by the end of the day I’ll get 12. Hmmm…butanywayz, deleted the post so my dad can’t see.

Well I’m sick at home, with the flu. Just hope I recover in time for the maths cuz if I cough and sneeze in the hall it is to nobody’s benefit. I’m feeling a bit dizzy from looking at the computer. I’m trying to write a HKU essay. Urgh.

Wah…I’m so tired…despite sleeping at 11 last night. I’m really fed up with going to school and doing nothing at all, I’d rather stay at home. Anyhow, I went to EDEN this afternoon and guess what we did?

Wash ROCKS!

Hmm…yes, a rather pointless job which requires extreme skill and effort. First, you must not simply spray water on the rocks since the layers of mud will simply not wask off so a mess will be created. Therefore, these are the steps to washing rocks which have been buried under the field for 100 years.

– First, use a hammer to hammer off any loose rocks. This process can be tiring because these rocks are starting to decay so layers and layers break off with each hammer. It seems as if you are trying to break the rocks up into sand.
-Next use a metal brush/hard broom to brush off the dust. Wear a mask if necessary and this process will take up to 30 mins. Your shoes and clothes will also get very dirty, this is expected.
-After 1 hour of hammering and brushing, the rock is ready to be washed with the hose.
-End product can be examined and admired behind the DT rooms in the link block

They aren’t that nice, actually, but yeh. That’s how I spent my afternoon.

Well yes, I changed my song yesterday, it’s Tim Mcgraw’s “One of these days” from his album everywhere. I think the lyrics are sweet. Hope it doesn’t take too long to load! Although I might be changing it again quite soon.  I’ve been finding a lot of random songs lately on my realjukebox…then I realised that they were from ppl’s xangas. Hmm…some of them are pretty good, I guess Xanga is the newest way to promote your fav songs.

HAha…today was quite a fun day, despite the Chem Lab day. The lab day was quite easy, I’m pretty sure I got 14/15 in the titration one so that’s really good since last year I only got like 11. I remembered my mistakes from last year and was really careful not to do the same this year! (like not making up to the mark for the standard solution.) The observation and inferences…well I won’t get full marks for that because I never do, I don’t know how to write observations and inferences, but at least I knew what was going on so I guess tis ok.

Enjoyed participating in the “Shenzhen water festival” with Bigcow, despite getting all wet. It’s not fair…he’s stronger than me, so naturally I was the one getting all wet. :-p

Enjoyed going shopping with V.To. Hehe we walked aimlessly in festival walk but it fun despite the fact that we were rilly tired. We were shopping for Di’s b-day present. =)
